Conference season is upon us!
It’s a busy time of year and we’re shifting into high gear as we prepare for the many conferences to come over the next several months. One of our recent trips was to Amsterdam for the IIeX EU conference, where our Founder, Zach Simmons, presented on how Discuss.io has helped Unilever connect with consumers in Africa.
IIeX EU was one of the most fruitful conferences that we have attended to date. In addition to Zach’s presentation on the Unilever track, we conducted a moderator roundtable-discussion on eliminating barriers in qualitative research, had a booth in a high-traffic area, and made a big announcement!
At IIeX EU, we announced for the first time publicly the launch of Discuss.io 360 Immersion. We received great feedback and interest by the attendees, which was made up of many of the movers and shakers in the industry. 360 Immersion brings brands one step closer to consumers’ lives through the use of 360 degree cameras and headsets typically used for VR applications. Zach Simmons is the Founder and president of Discuss.io. Zach has 20 years of experience building software. Prior to founding Discuss.io, he was the Technical Product Manager for Amazon Web Services (S3) where he ran the team that built the infrastructure that now powers a significant percentage of the modern Internet. Zach holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
