Discuss in Forbes – How AI Is Helping People Speak Honestly About Healthcare Experiences
Discuss Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Jim Longo in Forbes
Healthcare companies have a truth problem—a human understanding problem.
People don’t always tell the full story. Surveys get half-truths, interviews get sugarcoated and focus groups get filtered. We hold back truths about things we think are embarrassing. We downplay feelings or avoid sensitive issues. It’s not dishonesty—it’s human nature. We filter to protect ourselves from judgment, especially when topics are personal or emotional or carry a stigma.
Having spent over 25 years in market research, I know one of the greatest challenges is getting people comfortable enough to tell the truth. AI might be a key part of helping people do just that.
