When the Buggles released their classic hit, “Video Killed the Radio Star,” in the late 1970s, it symbolized the role that technology, music videos in particular, would have on radio and the way people consumed music. In many ways, the new wave of artificial intelligence (AI) tools is causing a similar feeling. AI technology is maturing and infiltrating society in ways that will have a big impact on the future of business. But will it really replace humans?

AI is growing at a rapid clip. According to Grandview Research, the global artificial intelligence market size was valued at $136.55 billion in 2022 and is projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 37.3% from 2023 to 2030.
