For this month’s profile, we talked with David Bailey, Sales Director, who joined the Discuss team in April of 2023 and is based out of London, UK.
- Tell our readers a little bit about your role at Discuss.
I am the Regional Sales Director for EMEA & APAC here at Discuss. I drive our go-to-market and commercial business for the region. I’m grateful to work alongside such brilliant and talented people as we continue to support our growing global customer base! - Which of Discuss’ core values are most inspired by? (Empathize, Collaborate, Obsess, Out Innovate, Excel)
All of the core values are important to what we do here, but I have to say that Collaborate and Out Innovate are top of the agenda right now. As we are collaborating with our clients and industry experts on a such a regular basis about their needs and wants, it is really informing our strategic innovation direction. This is helping us to stay at the top of the list when it comes to innovation within the the qual tech industry and enabling human centricity on a global scale. - Tell us about your team and the mindset (and approach) you’re instilling.
We have a great team here in EMEA and APAC with a great blend of experience and real passion for our clients needs and driving more qual. We have created a strong go-to-market approach which is really resonating with our regional customers. Our mindset is to inspire clients to rethink the conventional methods of qual, showing how innovative strategies can not only meet but exceed their research goals, and deliver greater value and efficiency to help them scale human-centric insights. - What project or initiative are you most proud of at Discuss?
I love our push into GenAI with our Genie tool. It is really changing the game for our customers and the industry as a whole. Thanks to our amazing Product and Engineering team, we are pushing boundaries for doing next gen research and our focus towards this innovation is really something that Discuss can be proud of so far. We are also not stopping and lots more to come! - What is something unique about you (a fun fact) that few people know about?
I am a big Everton football team supporter! Which I describe as a very tough job!
