We founded Discuss.io out of personal experience and frustration. Too often we watched otherwise great brands launch products and services that failed because of a fundamental problem: no one had actually had a conversation with a customer to understand their needs.

Our mission is simple: we want to make it fast and easy for brands to speak with consumers on demand, around the world without having to leave their offices. When brands speak directly with consumers, they develop understanding and empathy for the consumer, which then translates into successful strategy, marketing, and products that they build.
We believe that empathy and understanding of consumer needs is best built through firsthand human connection and conversation, wherever consumers live, in their own environments. Further, we believe that a live video platform is the best way to enable global reach at scale, to consumers whenever and wherever brands need to engage.

At Discuss.io, we are redefining who has access to the voice of the consumer. Traditionally, Insights departments have been the only teams to hold this privilege. Other stakeholders only gain access to insights after they’ve been passed through layers of filtration. The impact of the initial human connection gets lost. When all stakeholders engage with and understand consumers, they can be more consumer-centric in their decision making. Stakeholders can include anyone from Insights, Brand Managers, Marketing, Research and Development, Strategy – anyone who would benefit from access to the voice of the consumer.
