Project- or Client-Specific Releases and Agreements
Researchers often need to require that respondents agree to a legal release or disclaimer. This section describes how to require that respondents consent to your stipulations, and you can also watch this two-minute video demonstrating this function.
Adding Releases and Agreements as Part of a Screening Survey:
- Navigate to the project screening questions.
(More help on writing effective screeners.)
- Click “New Question” button.
- Insert the Agreement or Release into the question’s text input field and configure the screener to provide two possible answer, “I Agree” and “I Don’t Agree.”
- Terminate all people that select “I Don’t Agree.”
Testing Your Consent Form
The easiest way to test a custom consent form is to setup a test interview.
- Schedule a new session, making sure to select the “Recruit your own Participants.”
- Invite Participants after the session has been scheduled and Require Contact Information.
- Open the the recruit survey by clicking on the “Join the Meeting” link within the invitation.
- Navigate to Step Three of the Qualification Survey; your custom consent question will be displayed.
“Two Tier” Consent During The Interview
Researchers may want to require consent both during advance recruitment as well as immediately before the interview itself.
This “two tier” consent be arranged simply by providing the recruit the same “Join the Meeting” link.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you require two tiered consent
